Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles presents Korean Culture Day: Korean History & Culture Virtual Field Trip - Korean Friendship Bell
Korean Bell of Friendship: A gift of friendship donated to the people of the United States by the people of the Republic of Korea in the sense of strengthening the friendship and goodwill of the two countries in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the United States' independence. Jonggak is a traditional Korean architectural style that has a roof with a blue tile and is painted with Korea's unique monophonic and patterns. It was erected on July 4, 1976 and is a City of Los Angeles’ historic site #187 as a symbol of Korea and the U.S.’ friendship.
