The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (Wijin Park, Director) presents a special online performance in remembrance of 1992 Los Angeles Riots, Harmony in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 29, 2021 on the KCCLA YouTube channel.
This year marks the 29th anniversary of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots. In commemoration of everyone who struggled and fought for their people, both communities will join together to send a harmonious message through music and dance.
The dance community in Los Angeles is vibrant and diverse. The art of dance is powerful as it celebrates life, culture and friendship.
In commemoration of the LA Riots, the two dance communities will come together to bring a program that is both inspiring and entertaining. The works featured in this program include a solo, duet and a group dance. The solo is poignant and expressive, the duet symbolizes harmony and the group piece lifts the spirit. The program opens with a collaboration piece that speaks of feelings more powerful than a thousand words.
Please enjoy the world of love and harmony.
All the KCCLA's performance will be introduced on the website of the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles (www.kccla.org), YouTube Channel, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
