San Diego House of Korea Lawn Program

The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles and the House of Korea in San Diego announced that it will host Korean Lawn Program at Balboa Park’s House of Pacific Relations International Cottages on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The House of Korea, which opened in Balboa Park in 2021 with strong support from the local community, has since introduced countless visitors and San Diego residents to Korea’s rich cultural heritage and history.

This year’s program will be the most diverse to date, offering audiences a chance to fully experience the beauty and flavor of Korea. Traditional performances will include Gayageum and Daegeum Sanjo, Pansori (Korean Opera), and a variety of Korean dances such as Fan Dance, Samgo-mu (Three-Drum Dance), Janggu Dance, Hwagwanmu (Flower Crown Dance), and Jindo Bukchum (Drum Dance). These performances will highlight the elegance and artistry of Korean traditional music and dance for San Diego audiences.

The grand finale will be headlined by KND, the recent winners of the 2025 K-Pop Cover Dance Festival USA and ultimate champions of the K-Pop Cover Dance World Final held in Seoul on September 13, adding a contemporary and exciting finish to the cultural celebration.

In addition, visitors will enjoy free sampling of Korean food items, beverages, and K-beauty products, which are expected to generate enthusiastic responses. The event will also feature hands-on traditional cultural experiences, giveaways, and the sale of simple Korean meals such as bulgogi rice bowls and kimchi.

Korean Lawn Program will take place on Sunday, October 5, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages lawn in Balboa Park, San Diego. The event is free and open to the public.
