To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea’s Liberation Day, a special Gala Concert of the musical
This gala concert reimagines key scenes from musical 'Dosan', honoring the life and philosophy of independence leader Dosan Ahn Chang Ho, through a powerful blend of music and narration. The performance sheds new cultural light on Korea’s path to independence and pays tribute to those who sacrificed for freedom.
The concert also marks the debut performance of the Dosan Symphony Orchestra, adding to the historical significance of the event. Tenor Wonhyun Choi stars as Dosan, and baritone Kyungtae Kim appears as It? Hirobumi. The program includes highlights such as “Dosan Will Stand Tall,” “Land of Peace,” and patriotic choral pieces like “March for the Nation” and “National Awakening.” Beloved Korean classics “Spring in My Hometown” and “Longing for Mt. Geumgang” will also be featured in a moving finale.
We invite everyone to join this meaningful cultural celebration of Korea’s 80-year journey of independence.
